Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin is the Irish Language, Arts and Cultural Centre named after Seán Ó Canáin, a lifelong Irish language activist and former chairperson of An Gaeláras.

No. We are an Irish language centre though so we encourage people to use whatever Irish they have and you will be able to hear some Irish during your visit.

 

We do indeed, Caife Fáilte is open from Mon-Sat (9am-5pm) serving Breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Obviously we are an Irish language centre and our role is to promote the Irish language but Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin is open to everyone whether or not they have knowledge of the language.
